Christopher S. Beer

Christopher advises clients in the areas of business, intellectual property and corporate governance. His clientele range from local emerging companies to multi-national organizations. Often told that he “doesn’t talk like a lawyer,” Chris takes a practical, no nonsense, yet collaborative approach. With 25 years of experience, he brings broad and comprehensive insights to his clients’ strategic legal needs. With extensive experience in intellectual property, namely, trademarks and copyrights, Chris often advises domestic and international companies and other law firms on complex clearance, prosecution and enforcement issues.

Lucas S. Michels

Lucas brings a varied legal and business background to Ironmark. He advises entrepreneurs, businesses, and artists on intellectual property, corporate, and commercial law, as well as various regulatory compliance matters. Before becoming a lawyer, Lucas worked in foreign regulatory compliance and international lobbying in Brussels and Seattle. Drawing from these experiences, Lucas understands the day-to-day domestic and cross-border legal and regulatory obstacles businesses face, and provides tailored legal services to meet and overcome these challenges.

Particularly, Lucas assists clients with copyright and trademark prosecution and portfolio management, IP and commercial transaction negotiation and drafting, and corporate formation and governance-related services. He also represents clients in IP, corporate, and commercial litigation and arbitration before state, federal, and administrative tribunals, including the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy arbitration panels. Lucas also continues to work with clients on a variety of regulatory compliance matters, ranging from privacy, to food and agricultural product processing, and export compliance.

Lucas also has extensive experience, including authoring and presenting, on the topic of online intellectual property and personality rights enforcement. He has managed online enforcement campaigns for multiple brands, photographers, and victims of revenge pornography, as well as acting as copyright agent for multiple online service providers.

Stacie Foster, Emeritus

Stacie Foster provides over twenty years of litigation experience to Ironmark Law Group. She has represented clients in all phases of litigation, particularly in the areas of intellectual property and employment law and has helped hundreds of clients avoid litigation by negotiating settlements of claims and potential claims. She is also experienced in trademark/copyright registration, prosecution and litigation.

Stacie’s clients praise her as a “tenacious advocate with excellent business judgment and superior legal skills” and “pragmatic, balanced counsel.” She works to help her clients protect their bottom line, while helping them understand and advance their legal interests.
